Replacing the swimming pool liner

Swimming pool liners come in two different types.

A prefabricated liner, which is made in the factory and then fitted into the swimming pool.

An onsite liner, which is cut and welded to the swimming pool on site.

Prefabricated Liner

A prefabricated liner is made from 30thou PVC vinyl material and is available in a wide variety of colours, patterns and textures.

We measure the swimming pool using the latest digital measuring equipment, then send those measurements to our supplier who make the liner in a purpose built factory.

It is then sent back to us and we fit it into the swimming pool using a liner lock and wedge which runs around the top of the swimming pool. The force of the water stretches the liner into the sides and bottom giving a wrinkle-free, water-tight finish.

Lacquered surfaces over high quality prints to help guard against abrasion, staining and UV attack.
Inclusion of anti-microbial bodies to help combat biological attack and marking
High levels of flexibility.
High resistance to breaking, tearing and puncturing.
Resistance to water temperatures up to 30°C.
Resistance to pool chemicals in a balanced water environment.
Manufactured in a clean, purposely equipped factory.

This 30 year old liner was so brittle it cracked under touch, so we installed a new prefabricated liner making a new looking swimming pool!

Onsite Liner

Onsite Lining is a different process to prefabricated liners, in that the material is welded together on site.

Once again we measure the swimming pool for the amount of liner material needed. By using a dedicated, experienced team, the liner is welded to a profile that runs around the top and the bottom of the swimming pool. it is also glued together so as to make a water-tight liner.

Onsite liner material is thicker than a prefabricated liner and can be used in difficult or unusual shaped swimming pools. It can used on all shaped steps and also using a non-slip material.

There is lots of choice in colours and patterns including the new touch range of material which looks and feels like natural materials.
